A bit about us:

King’s Lodge School is a place where we foster Kindness, Learning and Success for everyone.  We are situated in the middle of the popular Pewsham housing estate in Chippenham and our school has approximately 300 children on roll, most of whom live within our catchment area. Our school is surrounded by open space and is a bright and warm place to learn and work. We pride ourselves on encouraging everyone to strive to be the best they can be with the support that makes it possible.

 

All about the role:

We are looking for a super teacher who wants to be part of a great team.  One of our teachers will be going on maternity leave and we need someone who is:

• Keen to be part of a team of 3 teachers all teaching a mixed age class
• Keen to plan the curriculum as part of a team sharing ideas and the workload
• Full of energy and who enjoys teaching, is cheerful and has fun ideas

This post is a temporary, 1 year contract and can be flexible dependant on who applies and who is the right fit for our school.  The class will either be in year 1/2 or in year 3/4.  The post is not suitable for an ECT but might suit someone who no longer wishes to work full-time or maybe a returner to teaching after a short break.

Hours of work:        Full-time

Contract type:       Temporary, 1 year contract, starting 1^st September 2025
